The Biografo service is provided by BertoProduction, NIF Y-4514/312-R, Cabo Blanco, 38627 Tenerife (Spain), info@biografo.net.

By using the site and buying, you accept these terms.

A service producing a biographical work: a series of interviews conducted by an artificial intelligence system, their transcription, the writing and illustration of the chapters, approval of the text by the Interviewee and — depending on the plan — printing and shipping of one or more bound copies.

The number of chapters and copies, and the extras included, are those stated in the plan at the time of purchase.

The buyer and the person interviewed are often different people. It matters that the consequences are clear.

Payment gives the Buyer no right of access to, control over, or disposal of the Interviewee’s personal data.

The Interviewee decides what to tell, what to leave out, and whether to authorise printing. Their wishes always prevail over the Buyer’s.

Six to eight weeks from the first completed interview, depending on the plan. Timing also depends on the Interviewee’s availability to continue the interviews: if sessions become less frequent, delivery moves accordingly.

Before printing we send you the complete PDF. The book goes to press only after your explicit approval.

The book records what the Interviewee told us. We do not verify the historical accuracy of what is recounted and cannot guarantee it: this is a work of personal memory, not a historical record.

The Interviewee warrants that what they say about third parties is truthful and not harmful, and holds us harmless against third-party claims arising from it.

The biographical content — the words, the facts, the point of view — belongs to the Interviewee, who is its author.

Rights in the text, where it results from human revision, are assigned to the Interviewee. BertoProduction retains a non-exclusive licence limited to producing, printing and delivering the work, expressly excluding any model-training purpose.

Cover, typesetting and illustrations remain BertoProduction’s, licensed for use on that one work.

The Buyer acquires ownership of the physical copy, not the copyright. Commercial republication requires the Interviewee’s written agreement.

As a consumer you have fourteen days to withdraw. The service, however, begins with the first interview: if you ask us to start within those fourteen days, you accept that a later withdrawal entails paying for the portion of the service already performed.

Once the PDF is approved and printing has begun, withdrawal is no longer available, because the goods are made to your specification (Art. 16(c), Directive 2011/83/EU).

They may do so at any time, and it is entirely their right.

If this happens before printing, we erase everything and refund what you paid less the portion of the service already delivered, which we set out transparently.

If it happens after delivery, we erase answers, texts and the account, and stop reprints and the digital edition. Copies already delivered remain yours.

If the book arrives damaged or misprinted we replace it free of charge. Tell us within fourteen days of delivery, with a photograph.

One free reprint for corrections requested after PDF approval; further reprints are at the customer’s expense.

Our total liability does not exceed the amount you paid for the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or the non-waivable rights of consumers.

Spanish law applies. This does not affect the right of a consumer resident in the European Union to bring proceedings in their own place of domicile and to rely on the mandatory rules of their own country.
